Boniuk Library’s expansion of the Memorial Book Collection encompasses now over 100 communities lost in the Holocaust. These communities were sites in which entire populations were forced into death centers, murdered, or were casualties of the war.  In addition to the Destroyed Communities Interactive Database and websites identified by the librarians, 260 communities are represented in our Memorial  Book or Yizkor collection.  Through the generosity of Gayle Kamen Weinstein, the Drohitchin Memorial book is now part of the collection. The book will be dedicated to the memory of the residents of Drohitchin and to Jack Kamen.
