This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday February 10

6:00 PM  –  7:00 PM

In observance of Black History Month, the Boniuk Library is organizing a book discussion session about Destined to Witness by Hans Massoquoi. The child of an African diplomat and a German nurse, Massoquoi grew up in Nazi Germany. Swayed by the charisma of Hitler and national pride young Hans learns what it means to be Black under a regime of racism. Borrow a copy from Boniuk Library or your closest public library and talk about the book with others in a moderated online session.

Admission is free and open to the public. Guests will receive a private Microsoft Teams link so advance registration is required.
