This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday April 30

6:30 PM  –  8:00 PM

This compelling documentary recounts the story of 10 mostly Jewish academics, including artist Si Lewen, who fled Nazi persecution in Germany, only to return during World War II to use their intimate knowledge of the German language and culture to interrogate prisoners on the front lines. Trained at Maryland's Camp Ritchie, these German refugees were a strange sight in the U.S. Army, but their contributions to the war effort were heroic and invaluable.
