Refugees from World War II: Reclaiming the Music of Polish-Jewish Composers

Join Holocaust Museum Houston for a concert sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Houston.

This program will feature works by three Polish-born composers whose lives and music were profoundly shaped by the upheavals of the 20th century: Szymon Laks, Mieczysław Weinberg, and Roman Ryterband.  The performers will be: Hanna Hipp – mezzo-soprano, Andrzej Ciepliński – clarinet, Jarosław Nadrzycki – violin, Grzegorz Mania – piano.

This program is free and open to the public but advanced registration is required.
